If you have asked this question or heard others wondering how to help, here are a few things I would like to recommend considering:
- give blood
- give food (now is a good time to Spring Clean our pantries/food storage and share a few extras we may have)
- Brigham City Food Pantry accepting donations (drop off @ door - 272 N 200 W, Brigham City) Mon-Thur - 8am - 4pm, Fri - 8am-2pm
- Tremonton Food Pantry accepting donations Mon and Tue - 3-6pm (Southwest door or after hours in cabinet on North end of the building - 180 S Tremont St, Tremonton)
- Boys & Girls Club of Northern Utah, 641 E 200 N, Brigham City, UT 84302, 435.723.6224 - providing food to children in our community
- give hope - send a letter, share a smile, encourage someone today
- precaution/prepare, not panic - be mindful of others, take care of your needs but leave some T.P. for the next guy :)
- practice patience - for yourself and others (we can't be expected to be the perfect parent, teacher, employee, spouse, child) - these are trying times - please extend a bit of Grace
- give gratitude - recognize those that continue to serve us despite the risks to themselves and their families (healthcare workers, grocery store/pantry employees, law enforcement, first responders/EMS/Fire, military, all others that are assisting us through this difficult time AND farmers/ranchers and local businesses - be sure to support them as much as possible and give them a (virtual) high-five! :)
- inspire others to Stay Safe, Stay Home (Video)
